"Between the 1930's and 50's there were around
100 cabarets
in Mexico City. People would go there to dance to live music in these wonderful surreal places that now almost no one can find," said Arenas. The exhibition offers snapshots of the cabaret night life from three of thefive
remaining cabarets in the Mexican capital.The exhibition was opened with the show

, in which several actreses reenacted typical scenes from cabaret life accompanied by the voice of mexican mezzo sopranoCarmen Gabriela Lozada
